Saona Diving

Diving in Saona Dominican Republic with Ultramarine Divers

The island of Saona is the most visited island in the Dominican Republic. We start approximately 8:00 am from Bavaro - Punta Cana to Bayahibe. After arriving on the diving catamaran, we will reach our first dive site after about 5 minutes. The Atlantic Princess, a shipwreck, was used in the past in Bayahibe, was prepared to deliberately sink it into an artificial reef for divers. On August 15, 2008, she was flushed from the big waves to the beach next to the Dreams La Romana resort during the tropical storm Fay. During the surface break, you will continue to the island of Saona with fruit, biscuits and soft drinks. Our next dive site is called Penon, one of the colors richest and most beautiful dive sites in the Dominican Republic. Here you can discover turtles, seahorses and much more colorful fish. After the dives we go to the island of Saona, where we have a rich lunch buffet. Eaten and strengthened you can enjoy a little the beach and crystal clear Caribbean sea. Then go on to a sandbank here called Picina Natural, where we can marvel at starfish in your natural habitat Back in Bayahibe the logbook is filled and we head for the return to Bavaro - Punta Cana. Join today at Ultramarine Divers in Punta Cana / Bavaro. Maximum depth Atlantic Princess 10 - 13 meters Penon 8 - 11 meters
