The Rescue Diver course changes how you see every dive. You learn to recognize stress early, prevent small problems from becoming emergencies and respond calmly when another diver needs help.
Our complete program combines Rescue Diver with Emergency First Response. After the eLearning, you complete hands-on EFR and pool practice, followed by two open-water rescue training dives with realistic scenarios.

Practise locating, approaching, surfacing and supporting an unresponsive diver, with clear steps that help you act methodically instead of reacting without a plan.
Build confidence through realistic Primary Care practice, including scene assessment, CPR and the correct response to life-threatening emergencies until professional help arrives.
Practise injury and illness assessment, bandaging and other first-aid skills in a calm learning environment designed to make the response steps easier to remember.
From theory to realistic rescue scenarios
Send your certification, last dive date, hotel, equipment sizes and preferred dates so we can confirm the prerequisites and schedule.
Study diver stress, emergency management and rescue principles before the practical sessions, with your instructor available for questions.
Complete hands-on CPR and first-aid training, then practise the individual Rescue Diver skills in controlled pool conditions.
Apply the skills in open water through realistic exercises and rescue scenarios, then complete both certifications successfully.
Everything needed for a well-planned course
You need Adventure Diver certification with the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive, Advanced Open Water Diver certification, or a qualifying equivalent. The minimum age is 12; ages 12–14 earn Junior Rescue Diver certification.
Qualifying CPR and first-aid training must be current within 24 months. Our included EFR training fulfils this requirement. Every participant also completes a diving medical questionnaire, and some answers require physician clearance.
A 100 USD deposit per participant secures the course dates and starts the eLearning after availability is confirmed. The remaining balance is normally paid in cash on the first training day. Please review our booking and cancellation policy.
Because the program includes two open-water dives, plan at least 18 hours between the final dive and flying. We recommend scheduling the course well before your departure day.
