Who we are

Ultra Marine Divers provides scuba-diving courses and excursions from Punta Cana and Bávaro to Bayahibe, Saona Island and Catalina Island in the Dominican Republic. Questions about this policy may be sent to info@ultramarinedivers.com.

Information we collect

When you contact us or make a reservation, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, hotel, travel dates and details about the participants. For safe equipment preparation and diving, we may also request date of birth, height, weight, shoe size, certification and diving experience.

Health information is requested only when relevant to diving safety, medical screening or course participation. Please do not send unnecessary medical documents through the public contact form.

How we use information

• Answer inquiries and recommend suitable trips or courses.
• Confirm reservations, arrange equipment, transport and payments.
• Verify diving qualifications and support safe participation.
• Communicate changes involving pickup, weather, safety or the itinerary.
• Meet accounting, safety, insurance and legal obligations.
• Protect our website and contact form from fraud, abuse and spam.

Legal basis and consent

We process information when it is needed to answer your request, arrange or perform a booking, meet a legal or safety obligation, protect legitimate business interests, or when you have given consent. Personal data processed in the Dominican Republic is handled with regard to Law No. 172-13 on the Protection of Personal Data.

Who may receive information

We do not sell personal information. We may share only what is reasonably necessary with instructors, boat and transport partners, training agencies, payment providers, website or email service providers, insurers, professional advisers or public authorities when required by law or safety.

Payments made through PayPal are handled under PayPal’s own privacy and security terms. We do not receive or store your PayPal password or complete payment-card details.

Website, cookies and external links

Our website may use essential technical cookies and standard server logs needed for security and operation. If analytics or additional non-essential cookies are introduced, the appropriate notice and choice should be provided. Links to WhatsApp, PayPal, social media or other third-party websites take you to services governed by their own privacy policies.

Storage and security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards and retain information only as long as necessary for the booking, safety records, accounting, dispute handling and legal obligations. No internet or email system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information that we have not requested.

Your choices and requests

You may ask what personal information we hold about you and request correction or deletion where applicable. You may also withdraw consent for future optional communications. Children

A parent or legal guardian must provide or approve information for a minor participant and complete any required forms. Our services and contact form are not intended for children to arrange diving independently.
